Barn Features
- On the pressure treated product line, siding is 5/8″ pressure treated plywood.
- On the painted product line, siding is 3/8″ Smart Panel.
- All buildings come with locks and keys.
- Treated buildings come water sealed with 3-year water sealer.
- 30 year architectural shingles or 29 gauge metal roofs are standard.
- Floor decking on all buildings is 5/8″ pressure treated plywood.
- Skids and floor joists on all buildings are pressure treated.
- Wall studs are 24 inch on center, doubled under siding seams to help seal building, same strength as 16 inch on center (as in home construction).
- Floor joists are 2×4’s, 16 inch on center and set into notched skids to prevent twisting. Floor joists never span more than about 5 feet without being supported by a 4×6 skid. Floor joists are 12 inch on center on all Garages.
- Skids are pressure treated 4×6’s and not 4×4’s.
- Buildings in our inventory can usually be delivered within 5 – 7 week days (weather permitting).
- Treated buildings ordered from the factory can usually be delivered within 2 – 3 weeks (weather permitting).
- Ordered painted buildings can usually be delivered within 3 – 4 weeks (weather permitting).
- No site preparation is necessary. The site must be accessible for the truck and trailer and the site must be no more than 2 feet out of level.
- Free Set Up includes levelling with customer supplied concrete blocks and driver supplied pressure treated shims.
- The first 30 miles are free. Anything over 30 miles is subject to an additional charge.
- No credit checks. Just a small security deposit ($100 on 8′ and 10′ wide buildings, $200 on 12′ wide buildings, and $700 on 14′ wide buildings) plus your first month’s rent and we’ll set up a building at your location.
- No strings. Turn in any time (after the initial period of 1-4 months, see salesperson for details) or pay off any time with no penalty. Contract is month-to-month. Just pay the monthly rent for 36 months or pay the remaining balance and the building is yours.
- 5 Year Fix It All Warranty: There is no need for a lot of details about the best warranty in the business. That’s because we fix it all in the first five years (normal wear and tear excluded) free of charge. Any flaw or defect that is a result of materials or workmanship which occur during the first five years you own the building will be repaired by us. That’s right, we stand behind our product 100% and you won’t find that anywhere else.
- Limited Lifetime Warranty: On all pressure treated materials there is a limited lifetime warrant against termite damage and fungal decay (from pressure treating company).

Backyard Outfitters and it’s associates are not responsible for permits, covenant searches, restrictions, set backs, yard damage, or underground damage. Please contact your local Building inspector or Homeowners Association for information. It is the customer’s responsibility to decide if ground conditions are unsuitable for delivery. Free Delivery covers one trip up to 30 miles one way, over 30 miles subject to a $2/mile (8′ and 10′ wide) or $3.50/mile (12′ and 14′ wide) charge one way, and any additional trips may also incur charges to the customer. Free Setup includes levelling, starting with one corner at ground level, up to 3′ with customer supplied blocks or driver supplied pressure treated wood.
